Naraya was founded in 1750 and has been operating in the town of Minamiazu for over 200 years. Minamiaizu is situated at an altitude of around 500m and is surrounded by mountains in an area with heavy snowfall during the winter. The significant difference in temperature between day and night is what allows high-quality buckwheat to be grown and harvested, and the water from melted snow also plays a key part in the delicious taste.
Beginning in May 2016, Naraya renewed and consolidated the packaging on all products in order to increase the company`s brand recognition. We aim to create products that satisfy our customers, while always prioritizing safety and security.
