Based in Japan's Hiroshima Prefecture, Yamatofoods proudly provides employment support to people with disabilities. Staff with and without disabilities work together to cultivate, process, and sell shiitake mushrooms, which are grown in a mushroom bed in an environment with controlled temperature, humidity, and CO2 levels. The work is carefully done by hand, using natural water sources and without any pesticides.
